Paul Arnott was born in Hobart in 1950. He has worked in tourism, as an ABC journalist, as an Anglican minister, for the Victorian branch of the Church Missionary Society, for Churches of Christ Vic/Tas Community Care and Christian Ministry Advancement's Q4. He lives in Melbourne with his wife, Rosanne, and has three adult daughters and five grandchildren.
