Diana Castillo grew up in the colorful city of Havana and moved to Florida when she was very young. Having spent so much time surrounded by palm trees and beaches, Diana often jokes she’s a mermaid in disguise. She completed her studies at Ringling College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration. She quickly went to work in everything from designing theme parks like Super Nintendo World-Japan and Orlando’s Volcano Bay, to toy design for Cocomelon and tourism illustrations for Airbnb. Her free time is spent going on adventures with her dog Guenevere and watching movies.

Reviews for Nam Nam Nam (Comic)

The use of bright and neutral colors highlights the contrasts in the comic and mirrors the joy and humor in the story. . . . This onomatopoeia-filled translation about picky eaters and family bonding is great for emerging comics fans and story times. —School Library Journal
