G. Arnell Williams is a professor of mathematics at San Juan College in New Mexico. He is the author of How Math Works and the recipient of numerous teaching awards. Williams holds degrees in physics from California State University at Long Beach and mathematics from Yale University. He lives in Northwestern New Mexico.
