Daniel J. Carlat, MD, is the founder and president of Carlat Publishing and is associate clinical professor of psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is the author of The Psychiatric Interview and co-author of Prescribing Psychotropics: From Drug Interactions to Pharmacogenetics and the Medication Fact Book for Psychiatric Practice. Michael Weaver, MD, DFASAM, is a professor of psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and the medical director of the Center for Neurobehavioral Research on Addiction. Dr. Weaver has specialized in treating patients with substance use disorders for 25 years. He is the author of Addiction Treatment-A Carlat Guide. Talia Puzantian, PharmD, BCPP, is a professor of clinical sciences at Keck Graduate Institute School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences inClaremont, CA.
