High school student Kei Nagai is killed in a traffic accident, but immediately revives to learn that he may not be human at all. Instead, he may be a Demi-Human, a mysterious almost immortal being blessed with amazing super-human abilities. Scared, he runs away, and is aided in his escape from society by his friend Kai. Unfortunately for Kei, the manhunt is on and he will soon be caught within a conflict between mankind and other Demi-Humans as they prepare to fight for global supremacy.

Sato's bitten. Samuel T. Owen is in the building. The Battle of Forge Safety, which began when demi-humans who aim to upend Japanese society waltzed into an ambush set by those who would deny them the pleasure, reaches its crescendo and conclusion in this volume.

Reviews for Ajin: Demi Human Vol 9 (GN)

Vertical has done a wonderful job of bringing this book stateside... If you want a dark story that offers a different look at immortality-perhaps one close to what it might be like in the real world-then Ajin: Demi-Human is just what youre looking for. -Bentobyte
