Dr. Said Salloum received the bachelor's degree in computer science from Yarmouk University, the master's degree in informatics (knowledge and data management) from The British University in Dubai, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Salford, U.K. He is a highly qualified individual with a strong educational background and extensive professional experience in the field of computer science. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Horizon University College, contributing to academic development and research in computer science and emerging technologies. He is also a Senior Enterprise Architect at the Computer Center, University of Sharjah, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the university's technological landscape. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing the strategic design and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions that support teaching, research, and administrative functions. His work includes close collaboration with IT teams to ensure the security and efficiency of university systems and leading initiatives that introduce and enhance technology platforms. Beyond his technical and academic roles, he has contributed significantly to research. He was with the Research Institute of Sciences and Engineering (RISE), University of Sharjah, engaging in multidisciplinary research. Stanford University's reports (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025) ranked him among the top 2% of scientists globally. The AD Scientific Index for 2022 also listed him among the top 100 scientists in United Arab Emirates, reflecting his impactful research. His work is widely published, with many articles indexed in ISI Web of Science. He has been also recognized for his expertise in Oracle technologies, holding multiple certifications, since 2013.
