As climate change intensifies on ocean ecosystems, the demands on the sustainable use of marine resources for economic growth or blue economy demands adaptive policy responses. Artificial Intelligence (AI) emerges as a tool, offering advanced capabilities for data analysis and decision-making across complex ocean systems. By integrating AI into climate-smart policies, governments can better monitor marine environments, reduce climate risks, and enhance resilience in coastal and maritime sectors. This merging of AI and climate-smart governance holds significant potential to ensure that the blue economy evolves in a way that is both environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive. AI and Climate-Smart Policies for Blue Economy: Eco-Digital Futures explores the intersections between the blue economy and the emergent role of AI in reshaping sustainability strategies across sectors. It examines the environmental challenges and the global efforts created to change these challenges. Covering topics such as AI, blue economy, and climate change, this book is an excellent resource for government organizations, academicians, researchers, sustainable scientists, and graduate students.
