This book analyzes the significant obstacles facing women traders in marketplaces in Ghana and proposes policy recommendations that would enhance economic development. Ezenwayi Amaechi Ejiribe is an Associate Professor Faculty/Applied Learning Coordinator, Master of Public Health Program at Johnson & Wales University, USA. She is also the Founder & Executive Director of Micro Enterprise Social Entrepreneurship (MESENow)—an organization with the vision to create an ecosystem of women and youth entrepreneurs in developing nations. Sodzi Sodzi-Tettey MBCHB MPH FISQua is the Council Chairman of the Centre for Social Justice, a Ghana-based think tank dedicated to progressive social transformation and people-centered development. He is also a public health physician and a Rockefeller Global Fellow for Social Innovation. Joseph Ofori-Dankwa is the H.R. Wickes Professor of International Business and Professor of Management at the Scott L. Carmona College of Business, Saginaw Valley State University, USA.
