Graham Hobster is a graduate biologist, trained teacher and self-confessed technophile. His thirty five years at the chalk-face included four years each in Uganda and Dorset followed by twenty five years back in his native Derbyshire as Head of Science and one of the country's first Advanced Skills Teachers. He took his first photograph at the age of five and has maintained his enthusiasm for this art form to this day. His photographic darkroom has been replaced by digital files and he worked with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to produce the layout for this book. Graham now lives in Canada, working as a freelance book designer.
I am delighted to tell you that your books have arrived in perfect condition. I had a look through and there are some brilliant images, it really is an amazing snapshot of Ashbourne at a very particular time. I really think it is a valuable resource for future generations too. I cannot wait to give my dad his copy, I think he will really enjoy stepping back in time- magnifier in hand! Thank you for allowing us all to take a look at your great archive.
