Bindi Varghese , Doctorate in Commerce, with 21 years of Academic experience;Currently, affiliated with Christ University, as an Associate Professor and is the Research Coordinator at School of Business and Management. Served as a national and international expert, and is working with Indian Tourism Congress (ITC) and is the honorary director at Kerala Development Society (KDS), New Delhi. The active researches undertaken include Impact Assessment Studies, Medical Tourism, Destination Management Organization and Ecological Studies. Dr. Bindi completed a major research project on the title “Strategic Intervention of Destination Management Organizations to Enhance Competitiveness of Tourism Destinations– A Model for Karnataka” funded by Christ University. Along with her academic expertise, she is also an Section editor for ‘ATNA- Journal of Tourism Studies’, published by Christ University, Bengaluru. She has authored one book; on Medical Tourism in India: and has edited a book on “Evolving Paradigms in Tourism and Hospitality in Developing Countries: A Case Study of India”. The book is published by CRC Press, Taylor and Francis group - international publisher in US and released in 2018. Dr. Sandhya H is a distinguished academician and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. She holds a PhD in Tourism from the School of Business and Management at Christ University, Bangalore. A testament to her academic excellence, Dr. Sandhya completed her MPhil in Tourism and a Master’s in Tourism Administration (MTA) from Christ University, securing the first rank in both programs. Dr. Sandhya brings a unique blend of industry and academic experience. She has worked with Kuoni SOTC, a leading multinational tour operations company in Bangalore, gaining invaluable insights into the tourism sector. She has over seven years of teaching experience, having held positions at various prestigious colleges and institutions in Kerala. She has also contributed significantly to research, serving as a Research Associate for a Major Research Project on “Strategic Intervention of Destination Management Organizations – State of Karnataka”. Her research interests span Tourism Marketing, Destination Management, Smart Tourism, and Destination Branding. Dr. Sandhya has made substantial contributions to academic literature, with over 10 publications in Scopus-indexed journals and peer-reviewed books.
