Olufemi Timothy Adigun is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Applied Educational Sciences, University of Namibia and a Research Fellow at the Institute for Open and Distance Learning, University of South Africa. He is C2 NRF (South Africa) rated researcher. Dr Adigun holds a Doctoral degree in Special Education from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a recipient of the Shanghai Open University Visiting Scholar program (China) and the University of Zululand (South Africa) Vice-Chancellor's Academic Award on Outstanding Achievements in Teaching and Research Community. Dr Adigun is also a beneficiary of the International Academic Forum (IAFOR) as well as the Stellenbosch University Postdoctoral Research Fellows conference awards. In addition, he was a 2023 recipient of the UNESCO-IICBA travel sponsorship to the 2nd KIX-UNESCO Continental Symposium on Educational Research in Africa. Dr Adigun is a teacher and researcher per excellence who have published over 65 articles in referred journals and about 11 book chapters with over 550 Google Scholar citations. He has supersized and currently supervising research students both at Masters and Doctoral levels. Dr Adigun's research agenda is to advance knowledge by contributing to groundbreaking changes in education for individuals with disabilities, such as the restructuring of the curriculum to include the development of innovative teaching methodologies and inclusive education policies and school practices in pursuit of the goal of sustainable, quality education.
