"Dr. Mukesh Kumar Awasthi has done his Ph.D. on the topic ""Viscous Correction for the Potential Flow Analysis of Capillary and Kelvin-Helmholtz instability"". He is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. Dr. Awasthi is specialized in the mathematical modeling of flow problems. He has taught courses of Fluid Mechanics, Discrete Mathematics, Partial differential equations, Abstract Algebra, Mathematical Methods, and Measure theory to postgraduate students. He has acquired excellent knowledge in the mathematical modeling of flow problems and he can solve these problems analytically as well as numerically. He has a good grasp of the subjects like viscous potential flow, electro-hydrodynamics, magneto-hydrodynamics, heat, and mass transfer. He has excellent communication skills and leadership qualities. He is self-motivated and responds to suggestions in a more convincing manner. Dr. Awasthi has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted on all India level in the year 2008 by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and got Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for doing research. He has published 115 plus research publications (journal articles/books/book chapters/conference articles) in Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Emerald, World Scientific, and many other national and international journals and conferences. Also, he has published 7 books. He has attended many symposia, workshops, and conferences in mathematics as well as fluid mechanics. He has got the ""Research Awards"" consecutively four times from 2013-2016 by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. She is actively working in the modeling areas of mathematical modeling and analysis of emission and control of greenhouse gases, modeling of the dynamics of predator-prey systems, dynamics of computer virus in a network, etc. She has 14 research papers to her credit in the journals of international repute. She has taught courses of Dynamical Systems, Mathematical modeling, Ordinary differential equations, Real analysis, Linear Algebra, Functional analysis, and Probability and probability distributions to postgraduate students. Dr. Verma is a life member of the Indian Mathematical Society, Indian Science Congress, and Biomathematical Society of India. Dr. Verma has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India, in years 2009 and 2010 and availed Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) during the Ph.D. program. Before joining the Graphic Era, he was a Deputy Manager (Probationary Officer) with Syndicate Bank for a short period. He has published 225 plus research publications (journal articles/books/book chapters/conference articles) in IEEE, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Elsevier, Emerald, World Scientific, and many other national and international journals and conferences. Also, he has published more than 50 books (authored/edited) with international publishers like Elsevier, Springer Nature, CRC Press-A Taylor and Frances Group, Walter De Gruyter Publisher Germany, River Publisher. His fields of research are reliability theory and applied mathematics. Dr. Ram is a Senior Member of the IEEE, Senior Life Member of Operational Research Society of India, Society for Reliability Engineering, Quality and Operations Management in India, Indian Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics. He has been a member of the organizing committee of several international and national conferences, seminars, and workshops. He has been conferred with the ""Young Scientist Award"" by the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology, Dehradun, in 2009. He has been awarded the ""Best Faculty Award"" in 2011; the ""Research Excellence Award"" in 2015; and recently the ""Outstanding Researcher Award"" in 2018 for his significant contribution in academics and research at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, India."
