Dr. Balaji Ramachandran obtained his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan. He was a post-doctoral researcher at National Taiwan University, Taiwan, working on a printing technology for healthcare devices. He is currently an assistant professor at K. L. Deemed to be University, India. His research areas include SERS, electrochemical sensors, and bio-inspired surfaces. He is also a reviewer for various leading journals. Dr. Ragini Singh obtained her Ph.D. in nanobiotechnology from Ahmedabad University. She is working as an associate professor in the Department of Biotechnology, K L University. Notably, her expertise encompasses the synthesis of diverse nanomaterials and nanocomposites as well as establishment of their application in sensing and therapy purpose. She has also worked on the development of several optical-based sensors (colorimetric and surface plasmon resonance), lateral flow assay-based sensors, and photothermal-based sensors. Dr. Santosh Kumar (a fellow of SPIE) received the Ph.D. from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Dhanbad, India. He was with Liaocheng University, Liaocheng, China, from 2018 to 2023. He is currently a professor with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, Vijayawada, India. His research focuses on WaveFlex biosensors, fiber optic sensors, photonics and plasmonic devices, nano and biophotonics, waveguides, interferometers, and the Internet of Things.
