Prof. Sreedevi Upadhyayula started her career as a senior design engineer for refinery systems and is currently a Professor in Chemical Engineering Department at IIT Delhi, India. Her research interests include synthesis and characterization of adsorbents and catalytic materials for photocatalysis applied to waste water treatment and other pollutant mitigation, modeling of environmentally benign reactions in refineries and petrochemical industry heterogeneous catalysis, kinetics and modeling of environmentally benign reactions in refineries and petrochemical industry. Dr. Amita Chaudhary completed her doctoral degree in “Development of low-cost absorbent for capturing CO2 from post combustion systems” from Chemical Engineering Department, IIT Delhi, INDIA. She is currently working as an assistant professor at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India. She has She has done her UG and PG in Chemistry Honours and Organic Chemistry from C.C.S University, Meerut, India respectively. Her research interests are in wastewater treatment, waste management, and CO2 sequestration and utilization. Her research work has been published in reputed journals.
