Kathryn Funkhouser is a theatre professional and writer whose plays have been produced throughout the U.S. and internationally. She is currently Director of Publications and Creative Projects at Stage Partners. In her previous position as the Sr. Manager of Play Publications at Playscripts, Kathryn oversaw the publication of over 120 plays and curated two anthologies of connected short plays. Kathryn's published plays have received over 300 productions, and include Yellow Wallpaper, Knock Knock, Careless People: A Great Gatsby, Double Double, Unbreakable Timmy Cratchit, Do You Read Me?, Weekend Warriors, and Badger Poison. Her articles and essays have appeared in publications such as The Toast, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, The Atlantic, and The Nation. Member of the Dramatists Guild, Athena Writes (2018), and Project Y Theater Writer's Group (2018-2019).
