ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Abigail Laub was born in Guyana, South America. She is an Early Childhood Educator, Meditation Teacher on Insight Timer and the Author of, ""Abby and the Bicycle Race."" Abigail holds a Dual Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street and a Bachelor's Degree from New York University. She has been working in education since 2016. She empowers young readers through storytelling, drawing from her rich childhood experiences to celebrate her diverse culture and journey of self-discovery. Abigail uses her own memories of feeling left out to inspire children to embrace their uniqueness and strength, encouraging them to dream big and find the magic within themselves. With a love for children's literature, Abigail enjoys reading stories with her nearly six-year-old daughter. She also thrives on physical challenges like the Mud Girl Run and cycling across the bridges from Manhattan to Brooklyn daily, where she reconnects with her playful spirit.
