JASON MORGAN enlisted into the US Air Force in 1989. In 1999, Jason was deployed to South America on a counter-narcotics mission while attached to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, called the Night Stalkers. An operational accident left Jason in a coma. He awoke two months later, paralysed from the waist down. Soon after his injury, Morgan's marriage ended and he then raised his three young boys almost entirely by himself - with the help of a service dog from Canine Companions for Independence.
