Theresa Lang is an educator and author who earned her Master's in Teaching from George Fox University and spent nearly 20 years teaching kindergarten through second grade. In her classroom, she saw firsthand how learning to read can feel confusing - especially when letters don't always play by the rules. Inspired by her students, Theresa developed a playful, story-based approach to phonics and letter sounds that helps young readers build confidence while discovering the secret lives of the letters all around them. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her cats, Yama and Zuki. She has two grown sons and looks forward to sharing her stories with her grandchildren.
