Reviews for A Concise History of Germany

Advance praise: 'Clear, concise, and authoritative - still by far the best short introduction to German history available.' Neil Gregor, University of Southampton Advance praise: 'Mary Fulbrook guides the reader through the complexities of German history with energy and aplomb. Her newly updated Concise History of Germany is authoritative, thought-provoking and lively, illuminating key debates and conveying the larger sweep of political, social, economic and cultural developments over a long time span alongside sharply drawn key episodes. It is the ideal introduction to German history, right up to the present day.' Elizabeth Harvey, University of Nottingham Advance praise: `Clear, concise, and authoritative - still by far the best short introduction to German history available.'
