A Brief Introduction to the New Testament is a clear, faithful, and practical guide to understanding the twenty seven books that reveal the life, ministry, and meaning of Jesus Christ.

Written as a course style introduction, this book walks readers through the historical Gospels, the growth of the early Church, the letters to believers, and the prophetic vision of the end times. Rather than overwhelming the reader with academic theory, it explains why each book was written, who it was written to, and what it teaches about God's plan of salvation.

Designed to be read alongside the New Testament itself, the book helps students gain confidence in reading, teaching, and sharing Scripture. Each section builds understanding of Jesus as Messiah, Lord, and Savior, while emphasizing the unity of the Bible-how the Old Testament is fulfilled in the New and how doctrine leads to practical Christian living.

Ideal for personal study, Sunday school classes, Bible institutes, and new believers, A Brief Introduction to the New Testament provides a strong foundation in biblical truth without compromise. Its goal is not speculation, but transformation: helping readers know what the New Testament teaches-and how to live it faithfully in a challenging world.

Robert Ricksecker is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin, with a B.S. in Sociology and an M.A. from Grace Theological Seminary in Indiana. He has taught and preached the Bible to groups big and small across the nation. His ministry has included teaching and administration in public and Christian schools, pastoring, street preaching, church planting, and cult evangelism. He and his wife Ruth have had a major emphasis on cross-cultural ministry for over a decade, and they currently live in and serve from Delaware. He oversees Central African refugee churches within his denomination in several states in the United States. That role most especially involves training and equipping current and future pastors and leaders as they transition into their new lives in America.
