Yuko Yamamura graduated from Osaka College of Music and Berklee College of Music. She is a Jazz French Horn player, composer, and arranger, based in Tokyo and New York. Her collaboration with Japanese Taiko Drum player, Ryota Kataoka, is gaining international attention as well. She later married and raised two children, a daughter and a son. In 1976, the family immigrated to the United States. She graduated from University of Kentucky, College of Telecommunications.
