This is a wonderful introduction to queer film since the 1960s. It adds valuable context to much-loved titles, as well as drawing attention to lesser-known gems from around the world. The authors’ knowledge of the films and their enthusiasm for the breadth of queer experiences and creativity shines through. -- Chris O'Rourke * Associate Professor in Film & Television Studies, University of Warwick, UK * This book provides a detailed overview of some of the most important queer films released globally since the Stonewall riots of 1969.
