Chisato Tashiro is a children's book author and illustrator. She studied economics at Meiji Gakuin University and later the history of children's picture books at a school in Takatanobaba. Her work has been exhibited in several shows in Japan. She illustrated the picture book Voices of the Forest for Expo 2005, the world's fair held in Aichi, Japan. She is the author and illustrator of Chameleon's Colors, Five Nice Mice & the Great Car Race, and Five Nice Mice Build a House, published by minedition.
