Selected for the CBC November 2024 Hot Off The Press List. ""A twofer! Well these are fun. Hope you like die-cuts, cause this duo is rife with them. Essentially, you get hints about something on one page but have to peek through their die-cuts to see what they actually are. Think of it as a book that teaches you to look at things in original ways."" —Betsy Bird, School Library Journal ""The illustrations are pleasing to the eye, being done in light pastel like colors. Shadow Play tests readers’ imagination, critical thinking, and visual and spatial awareness. A must for an lower elementary library!"" —Cherokee Crum, YA Books Central ""This is an interesting set of guessing game titles, using strategically placed cut-outs to encourage kids to guess the answer to various natural objects.
