Karen Jameson is a children’s author, poet, and former teacher with a master’s degree in education. Her lyrical picture books include Woodland Dreams, Farm Lullaby, A Llama is not an Alpaca, Time to Shine, and many more. Exploring nature and animal themes, her writing has received multiple starred reviews, been among Bank Street Books of the Year selections, and are published internationally. Karen lives in southern California. Ishaa Lobo is a children’s book illustrator whose work is often inspired by nature, travels, and her childhood. Her picture books include The Mystery of the Love List and There's Always Room for One More. She grew up in London, England, and enjoys spending her weekends going on walks and exploring the city.
