Reviews for Bulletproof: How Not to Get Fired When the Credit Crunch Hits

Essentially, 34 illustrated pages dedicated to the point that most (?) people need sleep. Sleep is the time when part of your brain takes a rest from thinking, though it does dream (and dreams are mixed-up thoughts ). Showers tells us that when some scientists went without sleep to find out what would happen, they grew cross and mean and forgot things, and ends characteristically with the hint that though it's sometimes hard, most of the time I go to bed when my mother tells me. Despite the reference to scientific experiment, there's really not much here that kids haven't been told repeatedly at bedtime. (Kirkus Reviews)
