Charlie Moyler is an Art Director from south east London and has been designing children’s books for over a decade. As the child of two artists, she spent a lot of time creating things when she was younger – and even dabbled in selling her own drawings at her parents’ exhibitions. Thankfully she has found her way into a job that surrounds her with talented artists every day and she has little desire to compete with them now. THE TREE NEXT DOOR is Charlie’s debut authored picture book. Martin Stanev is a children's book illustrator and author based in the UK. His work combines simplified shapes, playful lines and limited colour palettes, and is often inspired by vintage illustrated books, historical periods, the natural world and childhood nostalgia. Originally from Bulgaria, he now lives in the Lake District in the north of England where you'll find him hiking and observing nature that he brings back into the studio.
