“A humorous seek-and-find counting book….Sharp-eyed young readers will enjoy searching the pictures for tiny, comic clues as to the whereabouts of the babies as they practice counting down from six to one and back up again to six and beyond."" —Wall Street Journal ""Simple rhyming lines build a wonderful organic cadence with one fewer baby stick each time we turn the page as they become skilled at blending into their twig- and sprig-filled environment. It’s pretty challenging to find all the babies (although their toys help), but this neat trick has the added benefit of slowing down the story and demonstrating how good actual stick bugs are at making themselves invisible.” —Youth Services Book Review ""Eagle-eyed junior entomologists will go buggy for this one."" —Kirkus Reviews “A delightful search-and-find picture book that introduces counting and subtraction…. unique and well-done and a good purchase for picture book collections.” —School Library Journal
