Suzanne Sawyer has a miniature rainforest attached to her house in Sandpoint, Idaho, USA. Her rainforest is a greenhouse filled with hundreds of tropical orchids from exotic places around the world. Sawyer has a degree in Social Science, graduate level work in Marine Science and is a long-time member of the American Orchid Society. Sabina Sagin was born in Melbourne, Australia. Classic children's stories, history, adventure, and nature inspire much of her work. She holds degrees in Communication Design and Music. Growing up, she was surrounded by dogs and other pets, and her British bulldog Rosie keeps her company while she writes and illustrates stories for the next generation of readers.
