Come on a journey to the Land of Nope, to where backwards-speaking Nopians sit beneath the noponut tree.

Sail away to a quirky, tropical paradise in The Land of Nope. Join our brave narrator on a whimsical journey to meet the hairy, friendly Nopians, who speak backwards and shuffle on hot sand. With playful rhymes and enchanting illustrations, discover a world where seaweed is both food and fashion, and new friendships blossom under the shade of the noponut tree. Perfect for young readers, this delightful adventure celebrates curiosity, kindness, and the joy of exploring the unknown.

Chris Macdonald writes stories about going on adventures. Stories inspired by his own experiences in some of our planet's harshest environments, whether traversing glaciers in Iceland, trekking across Australian deserts or interacting with wild orangutans in the jungles of Borneo. He also enjoys time at home in South Australia, occasionally helping his mother move heavy things around, and being in the gym moving other heavy things around. Chris sincerely hopes you and your family will enjoy his debut book. Katrin Ehrlich graduated with an MA from the Estonian Academy of Arts in printmaking and studied silk printing at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen. Living in Tallinn, Estonia, she has illustrated over 30 children's books and received numerous awards. Believing that a children's book is a larger whole in which story and visuals work harmoniously together, Katrin seeks to produce dreams and visions that text can only brush upon.
