Sophie Townsend, daughter of well known author, Helen, worked in ABC Radio but is now working with an interactive marketing agency as a copywriter and account manager. She has written two plays for ABC Radio - Embryonics and Blisters and has produced two documentaries for ABC Radio National - one for Hindsight, and one for Radio Eye. In 2004 she co-wrote Loss and Gloss , a two-woman show performed at the Darlinghurst Theatre. Misconceptions is her first novel.
