Tegan Bennett Daylight was born in Sydney in 1969. She is the author of Bombora (1996), which was short-listed for the Australian/Vogel Literary Award and the Kathleen Mitchell Award, and What Falls Away (2001). In 2002 she was named one of the Sydney Morning Herald's Best Young Australian Novelists.
