Southern born and West Coast raised, Noah Hayes dabbled in aspirations of paleontology and geochemistry before realizing that he could make art instead, which was obviously the more sensible choice. Drawing on a childhood love of comics, he received his BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design shortly after landing his first job with BOOM! Studios’ Goldie Vance. With a steadily growing online following, he has been featured in a number of galleries and zines, and he currently works on BOOM! Box’s The Avant-Guards. In his spare time, Noah moonlights as a tabletop RPG player, video game enthusiast, crochet amateur, and father to two large cats and two much smaller fish. He’s been nominated for GLAAD’s Oustanding Comic award for his work on Goldie Vance and The Avant-Guards along with their teams in 2018 and 2020 respectively.
