"""Angela does amazing work! Everything that she has illustrated is beautiful and this book is no different. Easy but realistic designs for anyone to use for reference! Adults & kids alike!"" -- Customer Review ""I have been looking for ways to stretch the creativity of my budding artist granddaughter, age 10, and this is perfect. The book is divided into activities that illustrate how to draw a particular part of the face, how to add details such as hair style, how to draw profiles, selfies and group portraits. One activity is devoted to famous portraits, helping children make connections between art and history. This book is highly recommended."" -- Customer Review ""I purchased this book for my 9-year-old granddaughters. The girls love to draw and have been trying to sketch faces for quite a while. I watch them trying every day to get the facial features just right. Within minutes of studying these lessons, I was able to see the increase in their skill levels. Both girls are inspired and encouraged to pursue their joy of sketching. I'm very pleased with this purchase."" -- Customer Review ""The first part of this book contained the basic features of the face like the eyes, nose, mouth. The second part contained these features plus many other details beyond the basics. The author explained and illustrated each part, and that was followed by trying out what was previously taught and pages to practice. The author also introduced vocabulary words related to her illustrations. The book was well organized and very detailed. It could easily be followed by the targeted age group, but it would also be a great resource for anyone interested in portrait drawing."" -- Customer Review"
