Reviews for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Journal

Here is an extremely helpful and nuanced workbook created by an exceptional psychologist. Josie Valderrama knows firsthand the value of ACT to positively transform lives and has expertly created this guidebook for that journey. Highly recommended! --Steven Stever Dallmann, LMFT, PhD, founder of the Liberation Institute In our present tumultuous times, the capacity to live with clear-minded, open heartedness is a skill that is needed more than ever. Josie Valderrama's Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Journal is an exceptional tool for learning and practicing this skill because she clearly illuminates the key principles involved in creative thinking and feeling. I highly recommend this journal! --Stephen Gilligan, PhD, psychologist, author, and developer of Generative Change and Creative Mind Motivated therapy clients often want structure and guidance between sessions, but they may struggle with meditation apps and developing a consistent mindfulness practice. Through experiential exercises and reflection prompts, this journal brings mindfulness into everyday life--even for those who struggle to sit in stillness and follow the breath for prolonged periods. --Kip Williams, mindful-somatic psychotherapist
