BRENDA D. MACARTHUR grew up thinking she hated science. But when her four-year-old daughter started picking science books to read instead of fairy tales, Brenda realized she had to find a way to help her daughter explore STEAM in an age-appropriate way. Over the next few years, Brenda discovered her own passion for STEAM and she founded STEAMsational.com, a STEAM site based on the activities she created for her daughter. SEAN SIMS studied illustration at the Cleveland College of Art and Design in Ohio. His illustrations have been used across the globe on children's books, magazines, greeting cards, packaging, toys, and fabric.
"""Adorable, interesting, and fun. It's got all the fun activities you'd expect like Find the Difference and Connect the Dots, but the neat info-bits about the solar system were surprisingly fun too! I learned things even as an adult. I fully believe your kids will benefit from this book and have fun while doing it."" --Tyler Short, neuroscience grad student ""Just in time for your Amazon wishlist, Brenda MacArthur of STEAMsational.com delivers yet another science activity book for young learners. Whether you order a classroom set or slip individual pages of one book into sheet protectors for multiple uses, children will love connecting the dots around satellites and finding missing objects on spaceships as you read the text to them. Parents will be amazed at how fast their preschoolers can learn real scientific vocabulary words along the way!"" --Donna Earnest, MEd, owner, The Classy Special Education Advocates ""This activity book is perfect for space-loving preschoolers who want to learn more about the solar system! There are so many different activities to keep them busy and grab their attention. And they'll love finding out fun facts about space as they go along. Definitely great for both fun and learning!"" --Sam Thomason, founder of Simple Everyday Mom ""This book is a wonderful way to get kids interested in science or encourage it in kids who are already interested! Brenda has dedicated so much of her life to this pursuit, and it really shows on these pages. I highly recommend it for all young children!"" --Kira Mills, PhD candidate in computational biochemistry"
