Baby Sign Language Song & Games focuses on what really gets infants excited about signing: fun and connection! We know young children learn best through play, and this book teaches parents and caregivers how to seamlessly fold signs into games, songs, activities, and various moments of joy throughout the day. This is a must-read for new and seasoned infant signers alike. --Claire Goss, MA in child development, parenting coach and educator As a music therapist and teacher of the Deaf, I appreciate Lane's creative approach to signing with young children. Her book is clear with engaging ideas for parents and teachers to put into practice. --Lora Heller, MS, LCAT, MT-BC, founding director of Baby Fingers LLC and author of Sign Language for Kids and Sign Language ABC I absolutely love that Baby Sign Language Songs and Games includes a variety of specific songs and activities for babies and toddlers! As a pediatric speech-language pathologist, I'm always in search of interactive activities and songs that I can implement in my speech therapy sessions, so I know this book will be quite handy! Additionally, I appreciate all the sign language visuals, as I often teach my speech clients signs to help them communicate their wants and needs better, and help decrease their frustration. --Grace Bernales, MS, CCC-SLP What a triumph! With this book, parents and caregivers of young children have (at their fingertips) a collection of simple ideas for interaction, play, and connection that require nothing more than their everyday routines. This is exactly the kind of simple, naturalistic approach to parenting that families need: use what you're already doing, and simply 'turn it up.' With this book, every family can turn their 'I'm doing a great job' dial to 11. --Ayelet Marinovich, MA, CCC-SLP, pediatric speech-language pathologist, parent educator, author, and creator of Learn With Less(R)
