Reviews for Ayurvedic Herbal Medicine for Beginners

I love this book. It provides a streamlined overview of the basic fundamentals of Ayurvedic medicine. The book has a description of the most commonly used herbs including their action, indications, and contraindications. My favorite part was the section that covered the most common ailments experienced by the general population and the practical formulations and remedies that can be readily made at home. The book is laid out in well organized, easy-to-follow format, with many full-color pictures. This book should be an at-home reference for the general public and all health care practitioners. --Dr. George Cromack, DC, chiropractic physician
