Having studied interior design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and art history at Arizona State University,Jen CK Jacobsworked for nearly ten years as an editorial photographer. Her photography and styling work has been exhibited throughout North America and is held in private collections across the globe; her clients included Chronicle Books, Roost Books,Martha Stewart Living, Delta Airlines,Food & Wine, Food Network, andKinfolkmagazine among others. Her work has been featured in countless publications includingTIME,Lucky,Redbook,Marie Claire,O, The Oprah Magazine,Refinery29,Daily Candy,VOGUEonline, andBon Appetitonline. She has authored several books includingInstant Love- How to Make Magic and Memories with Polaroids,Photographing Your Children- A Handbook of Style and Instruction,Gem and Stone- Jewels of Earth, Sea, and SkyandThe Circadian Tarot- A Daily Companion for Divination and Illumination(all under the name Jen Altman). Jen lives just outside of Asheville, North Carolina, with her husband and six children.
