LAND WILSON was born and raised in Marin County, California, where he developed a deep appreciation for nature. He is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and lives in San Rafael, California, with his wife and two children. SUE CORNELISON graduated with a BFA from Drake University and studied at the International School of Studio Arts in Florence, Italy. While raising a family of six children with her husband, she taught high school art and pursued her love of art, design, and illustration. She lives in St. Charles, Iowa.
