Chris Ferrie (Author) CHRIS FERRIE is an award-winning physicist and is the senior lecturer for Quantum Software and Information at the University of Technology Sydney. He has a Masters in Applied Mathematics, BMath in Mathematical Physics and a PhD in Applied Mathematics. He lives in Australia with his wife and children. He believes it is never too early to introduce small children to big ideas. Byrne LaGinestra (Author) BYRNE LAGINESTRA is a science teacher at Cherrybrook Technology High School in Sydney. Wade David Fairclough (Author) WADE FAIRCLOUGH is a science teacher of both senior and junior students at one of Sydney's largest high schools. Allison Steinfeld (Author) Allison grew up in Connecticut where she spent hours getting lost in the words and pictures of her library books. She wore her pencils down and left no scrap of paper un-scribbled as she copied the illustrations from those books, trying to capture some of their magic. Her love of storytelling led her to earn a BFA in Cartooning from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. After graduating Allison rekindled her love for children's books and enjoys being able to open up the world and empower young readers to grow through stories. Allison currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia while her boyfriend, Mike, pursues a Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics. They have two cats, Olive and Amelia, who like to spend their days napping and eating and couldn't care less about books or math.
