Acclaimed writer Chip Zdarsky takes on Marvel's strangest star, Howard the Duck, in a hilarious satirical look at the wackiness of comics! Howard the Duck returns courtesy of the sensational creative team of Chip Zdarsky and Joe Quinones - they're the duckiest! The furious fowl is taking on weird cases as the Marvel Universe's newest and most feathery private investigator, and his new job will take him everywhere from the Savage Land to across the cosmos! Howie shares offbeat adventures with Rocket Raccoon, Squirrel Girl, Gwenpool, She-Hulk and more - but his strangest case of all may just be the disappearance of Hollywood's Lea Thompson! Chip Zdarsky became well-known as the artist of the award-winning Sex Criminals and the writer of Kaptara, both from Image Comics. Howard the Duck was his first Marvel series, soon followed by books including Marvel 2-in-One and Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man. Now one of the leading writers in comics, Zdarsky has wowed readers with his Daredevil run; limited series such as X-Men/Fantastic Four, Spider-Man: Life Story and Spider-Man: Spider’s Shadow; and creative covers including his “How to Draw” variants. After collaborating with writer Kurt Busiek on the Green Lantern feature in Wednesday Comics, artist Joe Quinones’ first work for Marvel came on an Amazing Spider-Man showdown with the vampire Morbius, followed up with the side-splitting irreverence of Deadpool in Captain America: Who Won’t Wield the Shield? That proved he had the comedy chops to handle Howard the Duck, but his skills don’t end there as he has amply displayed on titles including America, Captain Marvel and Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man.
