After work on titles like Road to Hell, Jalila- Savior of the City of All Faiths and Masters of the Universe- Icons, artist Diogenes Neves made his Marvel debut with X-Men- Worlds Apart, a miniseries that explored Storm's early days as Queen of Wakanda. His success at rendering Marvel's mutants earned him the high-profile task of illustrating the return of New Mutants.
