Poem for the Day was the brainchild of Nicholas Albery, who tragically was killed in a car accident as Poem for the Day Two was getting off the ground. His colleague Stephanie Weinrich has taken over the selection, and royalties will go to Nicholas Albery's charitable foundations, under the banner of the Institute for Social Inventions.
Praise for Poem for the Day: 'This book is a dream, a revivalist campaign, a challenge, a fundraising vehicle, a book of days and an anthology, all in one.' Guardian 'It's a brilliant concept and should give a lot of pleasure to all ages.' Daily Mail
