Reynolds, author/illustrator of The Dot and Be You “The Little Polka Dot is an absolute delight from start to finish—a tender, uplifting story about courage, identity, and the joy of self-expression. The artwork mirrors the dot’s journey beautifully, evolving from quiet simplicity to brilliant color as confidence blooms. Each page turn feels like a breath of new possibility. This timeless celebration of individuality and creativity will stay with readers long after the last page—a book that makes you smile, think, and want to read it all over again.”—Jennifer Oxley author/illustrator and co-creator of Peg + Cat “The Little Polka Dot is a heartfelt celebration of individuality and the magic that happens when we dare to be ourselves.”—Aimee Sicuro, author/illustrator of If You Find a Leaf and If You Spot a Shell “Some people write beautiful stories, and other people create beautiful images. Cassandra Berger is a rare human who does both. This inspiring and sweet tale about a little polka dot who asks, ‘What makes me . . . me?’ is full of visual treats and surprises. It’s one of those special books that’s written so young children can understand and be delighted by it, while still touching the hearts of the grown-ups who read it to them.”—Laurie Berkner, award-winning and bestselling children’s musical artist and author
