Gigi Levangie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She attended UCLA where she majored in Political Science, before working for legendary TV guru, Fred Silverman. She has written numerous screenplays, among them the movie ""Step-mom,"" starring Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon. She has written three other novels, RESCUE ME, MANEATER and THE STARTER WIFE. She lives in LA with her two young sons.
