Raised in Colorado and Montana, Charlie is now settle in Northern California. In addition to writing and working with therapeutic groups, Charlie is a trainer, an executive coach, and a business consultant. He is an avid reader, a decent guitar player, a pretty fair free-throw shooter, and a hopelessly addicted fisherman. His previous novel, The Interrogation of Gabriel James, won the 2011 Edgar Award for Best Young Adult Mystery.
