The past president of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality and the Pacific Sociological Society, she is the winner of the American Sociological Association's prize for Public Understanding of Sociology.Dr. Schwartz has appeared on numerous television and radio shows including multiple appearances on Today, Oprah, and Dr. Phil.
