Join best friends Sam-I-Am and Walter Plot on another adventure in their very own graphic novel!

What's this? A new neighbour has just moved in, and you know what new neighbours means ... NEW FRIENDS!

Unfortunately, Walter isn't so sure. New neighbours mean new things, and new things are never good. And there isn't a rhyme in the world that will change his mind, so don't even try!

But Sam-I-Am isn't so easily put off. He jumps right into helping their friendly new neighbour, and soon, even Walter is convinced it can't be all bad. Together, they'll work out what just what it means to be a good neighbour, and much fun it can be!

With charming illustrations and easy-to-follow panelled storytelling, this graphic novel series is fun for everyone and an excellent bridge for kids moving into independent reading.

James Kochalka (Author, Illustrator) James Kochalka (kah-chall-ka) has been creating iconic indie comics and bizarrely catchy punk rock since the early 80s. Largely autobiographical, Kochalka's cartoon expression of the world around him includes such real-life characters as his wife, children, cat, friends and colleagues, but always filtered through his own observations and flights of whimsy. In March 2011 he was declared the cartoonist laureate of Vermont, serving a term of three years. He is a two-time winner of the prestigious Eisner Award, as well as four Ignatz Awards and a Harvey Award.
