"The game's on and the girls are out to win . . .

'This glam and ""fictional"" expose of the lives of WAGS is a rollicking read.' NW

In the glossy world of footballers' WAGs, love is the toughest game of all . . .

Jean Bennett, aspiring jewellery designer, knows as much about football as she does astrophysics. But when she moves to the bright lights of Sydney and falls in love with star footballer Josh Fox, she has to learn - fast.

Thrown eyelashes first into the world of WAGs, Jean is way out of her league. She navigates her way through semi-finals, a gruelling social calendar and salacious scandals on Josh's arm, safe in the knowledge he belongs to her - or so she thinks. But as her hair gets blonder, her heels higher and her tops lower, Jean begins to wonder who she's become . . .

'Zoe Foster tells an engaging and fun contemporary tale with her fabulously wry wit.' New Idea"

Zoe Foster Blake writes fiction, non-fiction and children's picture books because she enjoys hijacking shelf space across multiple genres in bookshops. Zoe has written four novels, Air Kisses, Playing the Field, The Younger Man and The Wrong Girl; three self-help/relationship books, Textbook Romance, Break-Up Boss and LOVE!, and Amazinger Face, a collection of her best beauty tips and tricks after spending years as a beauty director. Zoe's first picture book, No One Likes a Fart, was released in 2017 and was the fastest-selling Australian picture book since Bookscan records began. (People DO like farts!) It's a sales record-breaker and a bookseller favourite with over 120,000 copies sold. It won the ABIA for Picture Book of the Year in 2018, and has also been published in North America, Italy and Japan. Her other much-loved picture books include the sequel, Fart and Burp are Superstinkers, as well as Scaredy Bath and Back to Sleep. Zoe lives in Springfield with her husband, Homer, and her three children, Maggie, Lisa and Bart.
